Dunk Tank is a math-themed game show created by the producers of Cyberchase and starring Harry from Cyberchase For Real. Using a combination of video and interactive gaming, each program addresses a single topic in the 6th grade math curriculum and s...tudents compete with themselves for high scores. Dunk Tank is an independent learning experience for students to complete in 15-30 minutes, depending on their proficiency, and can also be used to support teacher-led instruction. In this interactive, Harry explains key concepts about liquid volume, including standard units of measure (what they are, when to use them, how to convert between them). Students play Fill It Up, a mini-game that challenges students use pints, quarts and gallons to exactly fill large containers whose volume is marked only in cups; watch a comic video about the importance of measuring carefully with standard units when baking; and answer other questions designed to help them further their understanding of liquid volume. Students can access support using a glossary, defining key math terms, and a menu of short segments to re-watch.[more]

Calculate the volume of a triangular prism by using a mathematical formula and measuring the base, height and length. Determine the volume of a triangular prism with tips from a teacher.

Calculate the volume of a cylinder by multiplying the area of the base by the perpendicular height. Determine the volume of a cylinder with tips from a teacher in this video. (02:02)

This musical video is about measurement using non standard unit. No narration in this video, just text instructions. Non standard unit is the glass that being used to measure 1 kg of flour.
A simple example is shown and then questions are asked abou...t how to find other items that can be measured in the same way.[more]

This 2:50 video teaches how to find the volume of a pyramid. One formula you use to find the volume of a pyramid is V =
(area of the base times height) divided by 3. There isn't any narrator for this video.
