Main directory and sub-directories for the site are not being set up. Create the folder to house these files. Microsoft Office is not a universal standard. Not all viewers may not be able to open those documents. You may consider saving the information as a text document. This will not keep any of the formatting. Another way to do this is to save it as a... RTF. The third way is to save it as a PDF file which can be universally opened.
