Density and Pressure
From learner.org, produced by Science Media Group
What makes a block of wood rise to the surface of a bucket of water? Why do your ears “pop” if you swim deep underwater? In this session, we will examine density, an essential property of matter. We will also look at how particles of matter are in constant motion, leading to a deeper understanding of fluid pressure. Finally, we will investigate the concepts of pressure and density to explain the macroscopic phenomenon of rising and sinking.

Air Pressure and Wind - by Study Jams
From scholastic.com, produced by Scholastic
Changes in air pressure, caused by air's height above sea level, temperature, and amount of water vapor, causes wind.  The Earth's rotation also helps.  It causes the Coriolis Effect, which makes the wind blow on a curved path.  Learn more about the difference between air pressure and wind with this cartoon animation from StudyJams.  A short, self-checking quiz is also included with this link.

Egg in the Bottle - Air Pressure - SCIENCE EXPERIMENT
From YouTube, produced by TrickyFun Nation
Should be done by a teacher in a classroom, not at home. Put a burning piece of a paper or other flammable material into a bottle with a neck slightly narrower than an egg. Burning paper will warm up and expand the...expand the air in the bottle and molecules of air will leak out of the bottle. Put an egg -- boiled and peeled, on the neck of the bottle. When the fire goes out, the air in the bottle cools down. Atmospheric pressure in the bottle decreases. As a result of different atmospheric pressures, higher outer pressure pushes the egg into the bottle. (02:21)
