From YouTube, produced by Smart Teaching Online
This video is designed as an ELL lesson but can easily be used in a typical English classroom. A teacher explains the 5 different verb forms in English (base form, third person form, past form, participle form, and gerund form). The speaker gives chart examples using go, speak, study, and play and how they are used with each verb tense. Irregular and regular verbs are also explained. The speaker provides internet links to help students practice. The 12 verb tenses are addressed in chart form-present, past, future----simple, progressive, perfect, and perfect progressive. The word eat is used as an example to teach each verb tense. Very thorough lesson (8:13).
