Refraction of Light
From YouTube
Snell's Law: Used to determine the direction of light rays through refractive media with varying indices of refraction. The indices of refraction of the media are used to represent the factor by which a light ray's speed decreases when traveling through a refractive medium, such as glass or water, as opposed to its velocity in a vacuum. Plasma Ball + Fluorescent Bulbs = Light!
From sciencebob.com, produced by Science Bob
There are about 20 videos of science experiments on this page. This video  shows how regular fluorescent lightbulbs can glow when brought close to a plasma ball found in many novelty shops. The bulbs glow because the electricity in the plasma globe is sent from the center of the ball at high frequencies, similar to radio waves. The gas inside of fluorescent bulbs react the the high frequency electricity and they begin to glow! All the videos are done interview style and so some background research is needed before they are shown.

On A Quest To See The Light
From sciencefriday.com, produced by Science Friday
Edith Widder has been exploring the deep sea for thirty years. When she descended for the first time, she turned off the lights of her submersible hoping to see marine organisms that make light--bioluminescent animals. Widder says she wasn't prepared for the light show she encountered and has been building tools to document bioluminescence ever since. (3:46)

Light Wave Behaviors (Interactive)
From pbslearningmedia.org, produced by WGBH Educational Foundation
In this interactive activity adapted from NASA, learn about the properties of light and how light behaves when it encounters matter. Animations and diagrams illustrate how light is absorbed, transmitted, reflected, refracted, scattered, or diffracted. Learn how the composition and shape of the object, as well as the characteristics of the light, affect how light behaves. In addition, learn how observing these behaviors of light can provide information about extraterrestrial objects, such as the topography of a planet or the spectral signature of a galaxy.
